The sliding operation of a bi-folding door relies on a high-quality stainless-steel track on which quad rollers, which are fitted to the door leafs, glide along in elegant fashion. The same quad rollers are fitted with a small brush on one end to keep the tracks free of dust and dirt.Bi-Fold Low Threshold
Low level thresholds increase the ease of access for everyone involved. An optional outer and inner ramp can be added on to the threshold to further enhance the accessibility for wheelchair users.Security is as paramount as stylishness in our minds...
A multi-point locking system is incorporated into the meat of the bi-folding door. When this lock engages, it does so at several different points, and in several different directions, into a robust lock keep. This keeps the door sash firmly fixed to the door frame.
Available with either double glazed or triple glazed units, the glass panes are unbelievably tough to break in order to keep your home secure. The high security master handles also house our tested cylinder locks. They will be enough to deter even the most determined of intruders.

So many possible configurations – solutions for every home…
Each bi-folding door project is a challenge and one that we rise to by supplying our customers with a solution that is specially configured to slot into whatever space they have available to accommodate it. A 2-pane bi-fold is our most compact design, with a 7-pane bi-fold being the biggest.
What a medley of colour, with something for everyone...
If you thought there were a lot of configuration options, just wait until you discover how many coloured finishes we offer! Our sublimated woodgrain finishes of Walnut, Rosewood and Oak always go down well with customers, and we also have a superb mix of powder-coating finishes in the offing. One colour not enough for your bi-folding door? You can have a dual-finish and pick contrasting colours for the inside and outside of the door.
Your home needs to be well coordinated, which means that any bi-folding doors you have fitted complement any existing windows and doors you have. That doesn’t raise any problems for Crystal Clear as we can produce bi-folding doors with high-quality woodgrain effects.
You can’t underestimate the finer details of the door…
The different configurations of a bi-folding door each typically come with three different types of handle. A pass door and integrated French doors require a master handle where the cylinder lock will be housed to help the multi-point locking system engage when you close the bi-folding door.
A D-handle and intermediate handle is necessary for each section of a bi-folding door, with the intermediate handle responsible for releasing the folding panes from the door frame when it’s being opened and re-engaging them when closed. As for the D-handle, you use that to push or pull the folding panes. D-handles and intermediate handles can both be colour matched to our modern and traditional master handles.
